Ingredients:

White wine 1 lt

Seed oil 1 lt (sunflower)

Sugar 1 kg + 200 gr for dipping

Anice seeds 300 gr

Flour 3 kg

 

Procedure:

Mix all the ingredients adding the flour gradually till you get a medium consistency.

You may use an electric mixer, low speed.

Once the mixture is ready divide in portions like a golf ball, then form small loaves about ½ an inch; then join the two extremities to close the ring and with a knife make notches on the outside of the ring about 1 inch between each other. Proceed this way until you finish the mixture.

Once the rings are ready, add in a plate, 200 gr of sugar and dip each ring and then arrange them on a greased baking sheet, and bake in a preheated 180 c or 375 f oven for 30 minutes.
